Perhaps true freedom begins precisely where we consciously choose to step out of the way.

We live with limits that we don't even know we have.
We learned them subtly – through rules, expectations, fears – and came to take them for granted without questioning them.

Through painting I try to make them visible. To bring them to light, gently.
Each work is a visual reminder that invites us to ask ourselves, from time to time:
What limits me without me realizing it? What no longer serves me and can I leave behind?
